Ferret Friends, Inc is located in the Tucson, Arizona area. Our primary purpose is to provide information about ferrets, and to rescue homeless and unwanted ferrets.

A lost and found file is maintained, ferrets are kept until the owner is found or they are adopted. All rescued ferrets are given thorough vet checks, vaccinated for canine distemper and rabies, and if needed spayed and neutered.

Rezweezil Ferret Rescue and Shelter came in existence after taking in eight ferrets in one month, and a ferret shelter operator convinced C. Williams to register as a rescue with the nonprofit ferret organization Support Our Shelters. Williams’ original plan was to work with the only ferret shelter in New Mexico, but it closed within a few months, leaving Williams’ Rezweezil Ferret Rescue and Shelter as the only shelter. Some years later, she moved to an isolated part of Arizona and her focus shifted to being a hospice/sanctuary, although she still rescues.
